Talk.to integration

To add the Tawk.to channel to your multichannel widget, you need to input the Tawk.to integration details first. Follow these steps to configure the integration:

  1. Log in to your Tawk.to dashboard using your email and password.
  2. Navigate to the Administration section within the dashboard.
  3. Copy the Property ID from this section.
  4. Open the Live Chats section in your platform.
  5. Click on the Settings button in the Tawk.to section.
  6. Paste the Property ID you copied earlier into the designated field.
  7. Return to the Tawk.to dashboard settings.
  8. Select the Channels or Chat Widget section.
  9. Copy the Widget ID value from this area.
  10. Go back to your platform's settings.
  11. Paste the Widget ID into the appropriate field.
  12. Ensure the option for Tawk.to is Enabled by checking the box.
  13. Save the settings to apply the changes.

After completing the integration setup, you can incorporate the Tawk.to chat widget into your multichannel widget by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Channels section of your platform.
  2. Choose the widget where you want to add the Tawk.to channel.
  3. Enter a title and optionally a subtitle for the menu item to help identify it.
  4. In the Action dropdown menu, select Tawk.to as the desired action.
  5. Go to the Customisation tab to choose an icon and select its colour to match your branding.
  6. Save the channel to finalize the addition.
